Instructions
First colourize the eggs strongly. It is the best to take a double amount of the colours. The eggs have to dry really well since the colour does not stay stable at the egg. Tips:
Substance or batik inks are firmer and do not rub off so easily.
Now scratch the desired motives into the egg . It is the best to start at a certain
point for example at the two Pole. From there the design goes on. You need a quiet hand and much patience for scratching. Because till an egg is ready, 4 to 5 hours passed. If the egg design is really elaborate and with many ornaments and patterns, it will take more time to do it for about 8 hours.
Mistakes also cannot be corrected so easily. Ledger lines make senseless since you cannot recognize these on the dark coloured eggs. It required a little dexterity, creativity, exercise and graphical talent.
It is good to use a tissue or a napkin for holding the egg while colouring. Because the hands begin to sweat after awhile. The egg colour is a stain on the skin.
If you have the desired sample on the egg now, you need to rub the egg with a bacon or oil for beautifully shines. Popular samples are flowers, flowers and ornaments.
Have fun and so much patience are needed.
