Buttermilk Hefeplinsen (Buttermilk - Pancake with yeast)

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cups of buttermilk
  • 30 g of yeast ( fresh)
  • 3 eggs
  • 40 g of sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 250 g of flour
  • about 100 ml of linseed oil
  • Cinnamon sugar or applesauce

Preparation

Heating up the buttermilk in a pot slightly warm, taking of the stove and dissolving the yeast in this under stirring completely. Giving this yeast approach into a mixing bowl. Separating the eggs which open egg-white to very stiff snow.

Giving and stirring in the egg yolk, the sugar and the salt well for the yeast approach into the bowl. Sifting about this and also stirring in the flour. Giving the beaten egg white on the dough and folding in carefully with a big egg-whisk for the end. Letting the dough then covered up rest at a warm place for 1 hour.

Heating up linseed oil a little in a pan and deep-frying 12 Hefeplinsen from every side in the remaining oil little by little canary yellow. Putting the ready Pan cake in a warm place in the about 50° degrees Celsius hot oven.

Serving the buttermilk Hefeplinsen with cinnamon sugar or with applesauce and cream toppings hotly. Mmmhhh delicious!
