Spreewald cheesecake (with quark)
Ingredients:
- 1 packet frozen yeast dough
- 1.5 kg of a fresh quark
- 2 eggs
- Sugar after taste
- Peel of a lemon
- 2 packets vanilla sugar
- some soup spoons of rum
- 375 g of potatoes which are cold, cooked and grated
- Linseed oil
Preparation
Giving the defrosted yeast dough on a baking tray.
Spread the fresh quark by a sieve, mixing in the other ingredients and distributing the whole mass on the dough.
Let it rest and grow up and then bake the pricked ( pricking more than once ) cake.
The Spreewald people still pours linseed oil on the cake before the baking.
