Pike in Spreewald horseradish sauce

  • approx. 1.5 kg of pike

For the liquid

  • 2 parsley roots
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • Salt and pepper

For the sauce

  • 350 g of grated horseradish
  • fresh parsley and dill
  • 2 soup spoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 soup spoons of sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • 6 egg yolk
  • Salt

Preparation

The ingredients for the liquid choppings. Then bringing to the boil with water, add the the pike safely and approx. 20 minutes go. (Fish must be covered with liquid)

After that the liquid has to be seived. All ingredients for the sauce with each other stir and with the liquid bring to the boil to give fresh parsley and dill up.

Serving the pike on the plate, giving about this sauce and garnishing with slices of lemon . To this you serve potatoes with parsley.
