The double church is probably one of the most interesting church buildings. The first one dates from the 14th century, church built from country and bog iron. The present brick building burned down in the year 1619 and on the remaining foundations built again in 1650.
The late baroque German church located directly besides that came into being within the years 1690 to 1694. Churches, the Wendish brick church and the German church are on situated sacristy connected with each other with this one at the east gables. The tower stump made of brick got its octagonal tower hood 1709. Within the years 1850 / 1860 the internal area of the Wendish church was modified, a barrel vaulting and the double galleries were retracted, the "eye" in the east gable, the pulpit altar and an organ were installed. The German church got an organ and 5 windows painted in the year 1899. So the Wendish German double church came into being within five centuries.
