You get the possibility here of climbing a giant of the mining technology. With its extents of 502 metres of length, 202 metres of breadth and a height of 80 metres you can already see the bridge of the distance.
3 years (1988 to 1991) lasted for the construction time of the bridge directly on the spot. It was only 13 months March 1991 until June in use for energy political reasons, however, (1992). It is part of the greatest mobile work machines of the world and is around 200 metres longer than the eiffel tower highly is. With the overburden conveyor bridge not became the coal taken down but the layers of the earth over the coal. The bridge has a weight of 11000 tons.
