Route description:
to the start
- on the right: Lehder Fliess, again on the right after 200 metres
- Sluice 111 passes Schneidemuehle (mill), after this like on the left
- after about 300 metres easy on the right into the Hauptspree
- remain about 2.5 kilometres on the Hauptspree
- again easy on the right to the Durchstichkanal
- after about 800 metres straight ahead on the Hauptspree
- follow the Hauptspree up to the Leiper Schleuse (sluice) No. 47
- after the sluice just again on the left into the Tschapekfließ
- 1 kilometre till one comes onto the Rohrkanal
- here on the left and further to Burg Lübbener Kanal
- here and passing the sluice 51 again on the left
- follow and after about 800 metre easy on the left into the Buergerfliess (sorb:Kossoa.)
- after around 1 kilometre on the right to the Wehrkanal
- after 400 metres the touriist cafe Wotschofska is reached
back:
- of Wotschofska again on the Wehrkanal back, about 800 metres
- Lehder Graben (sorb:Lehdsche Grobla) follow this one
- here now on the left and approximately 1 kilometre till into thecentre of Lehde with Freilandmuseum ( museum) and numerous restaurants
- on the Lehder Graben pass the village Lehde until the inn Gasthaus Kaupen Nr.6
- then easy left until u reach the sluice Schneidemuehle
then into the Lehder Fliess
Aim:
Camping site at the castle hill
Start and aim is the Campingplatz am Schlossberg (camping site at the
castle hill). The paddle tour has a length of about 14 kilometre. On
this route three sluices are and the well known tourist café
Wotschofska.
Card with waterways, walks, Skater trails and bike driven distances in
the Spreewald. This map contains Burg with Oberspreewald to Lübben and
partly Cottbus. Almost one "must" for cyclist, hiker or canoeist.
