Starting point is the Burger port in Burg Dorf. We drive on the main street in the direction of Straupitz. The little Spree goes on the right next to the street. We bend in the time, about 450 metres after on the left to the ring high road more briefly. Soon, but we leave these again and follow the Wendenkönigstraße going again on the left. On the quiet minor road it passes by to spreewald typical farmstead scattered, and it is worthwhile to fetch the camera from the luggage. After a while we come onto the ring high road again and drive to the right now. We are in castle Kauper. Our recommendation: Parking bicycle here and having a walk by Lehde. In addition, visit the Freilandmuseum ( museum of the old style of life in Lehde).
The same is the way back to Leipe. We leave the place and passes the Dubkow mill by Leipe . We then come, to crossroads these introduce themselves turning left to Burg Kolonie. Now still around 3 kilometres up to the next cross-roads. Here we have straight ahead, then reached Burg Dorf soon.
