We start at the Bismarckturm which is at the main street in the direction of the Straupitz. Our cycle track leads past at the tower on the left and the dam of the Spree we reach kilometres after about 2.5. We always drive along here to the right on the asphalt cycle track (part of the Spree cycle track and cucumber cycle track). We cross the weir and go past meadows, countries and woods. The asphalt our way crosses the road of Fehrow to Striesow (we stay on the dam) and kilometre ends after around 4.
Straight ahead it goes on in the direction of the May mountain Cottbus, we, however, turn on the right and go to Dissen. Dissen is known as a stork village. It is most by the 15 couples who make fun of their boys. We reach the damp biotope laid out to the support to the foraging specifically after about 800 metres. Frogs, toads, little fish, gnats and mice and so on, have their area here. You can watch the storks at the search for food on the meadows all around around the biotope. You find panels with data and numbers about the stork life in the village in Dissen yourself.
We drive on to Dissen and turn after the place initial signpost on the right on Döbbricker street. The museum of local history and culture and the half-timbering church built in 1778 are righthandly the next aim us (straight ahead). The inn opened newly after effortful restoration work invites to a meal on the other side of the street.
After the break it goes on on 2 kilometres of cycle track to Striesow. We turn left with the main street in Striesow and drive on to after sweetbreads. The medieval church in the village is an impressive making with inside paintings partly from the year 1486. A new street of the main street has a laxative effect on the right opposite the church to Guhrow. We pass through the village and turned out well Cottbus castle brings (L51) .Der cycle track to us to the connecting road now to the right along the L51 directly after advertising so. We make our next break "the star" in advertising in the country inn and hotel. The Spreewälder kitchen is written with a capital letter here, family Schlodder-Franke provides it itself.
We have about 3 kilometres on the cycle track after castle reaches to do again. We drive through the village along the main street and make another excursion on the left ahead of the port into the local history showroom. From here is out it is only 1 kilometre up to our starting point, the Bismarckturm.
