The Spreewald offers the hinge friend a wide selection of fish. Catfish, pike, pike-perch, carp, eel, tench and numerous species of white fish, you can fish in the Spreewald. You need a valid fishing permit for the waters and if necessary the fishing permit.

Unfortunately, it cannot be avoided to talk about some codes of behaviour. We thank you for your understanding in advance.

• Fishing is permitted at the time of 1 hour before sunrise until 1 hour after sunset.
  
  
• In principle, night fishing is not permitted. But some places are offered for night fishing .
  
  
• The boat can be fishing on the complete waters breadth on waters which only may be found fault by a side with.
  
  
• water routes , which are disabled to boating (sign: red white red), may not be driven with watercrafts by hand like small boats and canoes either.
  
  
• The use of watercrafts with motor is permitted only on the ways opened for this.
• Pay attention, that yo don`t destroy and affect lastingly any nature at treading the riverside!
